Queerty: This clip of Trump mocking Biden for wearing a mask on Tuesday night hasn’t aged well

You’ve likely heard by now that Donald Trump tested positive for coronavirus yesterday evening and is experiencing “mild symptoms,” according to the White House.

You may have also heard that he attended a fundraiser at his New Jersey golf club even after he knew he had been exposed to the virus and was showing early symptoms of COVID-19.

Now, people on Twitter have been re-sharing a clip from Tuesday night’s debate in which Trump openly mocked Biden for wearing a mask on the campaign trail.

“He could be speaking 200 feet away and he shows up with the biggest mask I’ve ever seen,” Trump said.

48 hours later, Trump would be in quarantine.

NBC News reports:

The next five to 10 days will be critical for President Donald Trump after his positive test for Covid-19. Doctors warn the illness can suddenly worsen after several days of relatively mild symptoms.

That’s particularly true for patients with two of the biggest risk factors for serious and even life-threatening complications of the disease: obesity and older age. At 74 and with a body mass index of 30.5, qualifying him as obese, Trump fits both criteria.

Here’s how people on Twitter are responding the whole Trump mocking Biden for wearing a mask thing…

Both Joe Biden and Jill Biden have tested negative for coronavirus. In a statement, the vice president wished Trump and his wife a “swift recovery” from the virus that has, so far, killed over 208,000 Americans.

“Jill and I send our thoughts to President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump for a swift recovery,” Biden said. “We will continue to pray for the health and safety of the president and his family.”
